Does this sound familiar?
You're functioning on the outside, but it costs you
Unhealed trauma rarely looks like trauma. Often it looks like patterns you can't seem to break, no matter how hard you try.

- You struggle to set boundaries, even when you know you should.
- You procrastinate or self-sabotage right when things start going well.
- You keep ending up in the same kind of draining or toxic relationship.
- You avoid difficult feelings through work, food, scrolling, or numbing out.
- You find it hard to express emotions, or to even name what you feel.
- You carry a quiet sense of "something is wrong with me" that never lifts.
“None of this means you're broken. It means a part of you learned to survive, and that part can learn something new.”
See how healing worksImagine your life where you can
Feel steady, clear, and at home in yourself
This is the kind of change clients build in therapy. Not overnight, but step by step.
Set boundaries without guilt
Say no, protect your energy, and stop over-explaining yourself to people who drain you.
Feel grounded, not in chaos
Regulate your nervous system so daily life feels calmer and less reactive.
Build a kinder self-relationship
Replace harsh self-criticism with a steadier, more compassionate inner voice.
Stop the self-sabotage cycle
Understand what drives the pattern so you can finally follow through on what matters.
Choose healthier relationships
Recognise the early signs, trust your judgment, and stop repeating the same dynamic.
Feel confident in who you are
Move through the world from a place of self-trust instead of fear and second-guessing.
How I help you
A safe, structured path through trauma
My work is trauma-informed and emotion-focused. We move at your pace, never re-traumatising, always building safety first.
We build safety and understanding
We start by understanding your story and your nervous system, so therapy feels safe before we go anywhere difficult.
We find the root, not just the symptom
Together we trace the patterns back to where they began, so change happens at the source instead of the surface.
We process what's been stuck
Using proven trauma and emotion-focused methods, we gently work through what your body and mind have been holding.
You practise a new way of being
You leave with real tools: boundaries, regulation, self-trust, and the support to make them part of daily life.

Get to know me
I've walked this road myself
I'm Mia, a certified trauma-informed psychotherapist, a former refugee child, a trauma survivor, and a single mother of two.
I know what it's like to carry wounds no one can see, and to feel like you're managing life while quietly struggling underneath. I also know what it takes to heal, because I've done that work in my own life.
Today I bring more than a decade of clinical experience and over 600 hours of advanced training in complex trauma to my clients. My approach is warm, direct, and judgment-free. You won't be a diagnosis to me. You'll be a person I'm genuinely invested in helping.
